The Foundation is currently in phase one of a ”Big Data” ethics project, which entails the creation of a unified ethical framework with questions devised to evaluate projects to ensure they are ethical. Acxiom’s grant – consisting of $50,000 for research and development – will allow the Foundation to extend its project to the marketing and advertising industry once the current phase is completed in October 2014.
