LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Oct. 13, 2010 — Acxiom® Corporation (Nasdaq: ACXM), a recognized leader in marketing services and technology, was named winner of a silver International ECHO award Tuesday evening at the Direct Marketing Association’s DMA2010 Conference in San Francisco. The award capped Acxiom’s bold presence at the conference in which the company featured nine participating keynote speakers and panelists and was nominated for four awards.

The award was presented in the Communications/Utilities category for Acxiom’s implementation of the “Lifecycle Email” campaign for Sprint. Additionally, Acxiom’s Relevance-X® Online and Social were both selected as Innovation Awards platform finalists, and Acxiom’s “Think Fed-Ex First” campaign for Fed-Ex finished fifth in the ECHO award competition.

The DMA International ECHO Awards honored the world’s best direct marketing campaigns over the last year that raised the bar in terms of strategy, creativity and results.
For the Sprint campaign, Acxiom utilized its Impact-X TM Email platform to automate emails from Sprint to its two-year contract customers, resulting in a 30-percent year-over-year increase in email volume with open rates 32 percent higher than industry average.

Additionally, Acxiom executive Rose Cahill, who recently joined the company, was honored as the DMA’s Insurance Direct Marketer of the Year for her previous work as vice president/director of marketing at The Savings Bank Life Insurance Company of Massachusetts (SBLI). SBLI, an Acxiom client, also received the DMA Insurance Company of the Year award for multichannel marketing. Its programs are driven by Acxiom’s MarketEdge-XTM product.
