The Arkansas Center for Health Improvement (ACHI) is a nonpartisan, independent, health policy center that serves as a catalyst for improving the health of Arkansans. Working with public- and private-sector partners, ACHI provides evidence-based research, public issue advocacy, and collaborative program development to help alleviate the state’s health crisis. Data shows that Arkansans consistently fall well below national health standards with high numbers of uninsured, unhealthy lifestyles, lack of access to quality health care and racial health disparities.
