Jordan Abbott serves as Chief Data Ethics Officer for Acxiom with overall responsibility for ensuring the ethical sourcing and use of consumer data. Jordan directs the enterprise data governance, protection and privacy program for the company and establishes the corporate policies, procedures and strategy practices for the collection and use of digital, offline, mobile, social media and other forms of data.
Jordan joined the Acxiom Data Ethics team in 2001 and is an industry thought leader and frequent speaker on privacy and compliance issues on the local, regional and national levels. Jordan advises Acxiom’s clients and in-house teams on data ethics-related topics and works directly with data governance regulators and policy makers to ensure compliance.
Jordan holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Rhodes College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas.
