Eugene Becker serves as Acxiom’s General Manager of Global Data and Identity Products. He sets the strategy for the business, spearheads innovation and leads operations. Eugene is committed to helping marketers use data and identity to have more relevant and engaging conversations with people across all channels and platforms. He is also the executive sponsor for SOMOS-Acxiom, one of Acxiom’s Business Resource Groups.
Eugene’s career bridges adtech and martech, including prior leadership roles in data, analytics and product management spanning both startups and established industry leaders. Eugene’s journey mirrors the development of the big data ecosystem and spans leadership roles at Xaxis, eXelate, Nielsen and Merkle. Eugene is a growth-motivated leader with a track record of driving innovation and new product development.
This role marks Eugene’s return to IPG, where he started his agency career more than 15 years ago. An early believer in people-based marketing, Eugene is excited to be at Acxiom at a time when people-based data and identity are more critical than ever across the media landscape.
Eugene received a BA and MA in economics from Northwestern University and remains an avid fan of Wildcats football. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and children.
