Acxiom and Foresight Factory, our partner, conducted research last year to dive deeper into core consumer beliefs, attitudes and behaviors about data use and data privacy. We dug into the key insights of a quantitative study from 2018 that captured global attitudes about data exchange across 10 key markets.
This research consisted of in-depth qualitative interviews with 90 consumers in the U.S., UK, China and Germany. Our intention was to test our findings and our understanding of previous quantitative research and hear detailed opinions about the data landscape in consumers’ own words. In this report, we outline the key findings from this qualitative research.
