More Screen Components are Reactive (Generally Available)&nbsp;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/help.salesforce.com\/s\/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_automate_flow_builder_use_more_components_to_react_to_changes_on_the_same_screen_generally_available.htm&amp;release=248&amp;type=5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Display Text<\/a> and Long Text Area input components are now reactive to other components on the same screen. Here is an example of a Display Text component reacting to the output of a custom summary calculation component that is reacting to the records selected by the user in a Data Table component.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1078\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1280 \/ 1078;\" width=\"1280\" controls src=\"https:\/\/www.rafter.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/2_C3b-1.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-text-templates-are-now-reactive-nbsp\">2. Text Templates are now Reactive&nbsp;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a great reactivity addition. This example shows how an Account record selected in the first Datatable is passed to a custom Data Fetcher component that outputs all related Contacts which the second Datatable reacts to and displays. Previously, the SOQL query used by the Data Fetcher had to be created with a reactive formula. Using a reactive <a href=\"https:\/\/help.salesforce.com\/s\/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_automate_flow_builder_use_text_templates_to_react_to_changes_on_the_same_screen.htm&amp;release=248&amp;type=5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Text Template<\/a> for the query makes the process much easier.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Formula:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;SELECT Id,FirstName,LastName,Name,AccountId FROM Contact WHERE AccountId = &#8216;&#8221; &amp; {!Account_dt.outputSelectedRow.Id} &amp; &#8220;&#8216;&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Text Template:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SELECT Id,FirstName,LastName FROM Contact WHERE AccountId = &#8216;{!Account_dt.selectedRowKeyValue}&#8217;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1640 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1640\" controls src=\"https:\/\/www.rafter.one\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/1_C1-4.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-new-repeater-component-beta-nbsp\">3. New Repeater Component (Beta)&nbsp;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a huge help for building Flows where you want to add an unknown number of records. Just add a <a href=\"https:\/\/help.salesforce.com\/s\/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_automate_flow_builder_add_a_reusable_set_of_components_to_a_screen_with_the_new_repeater_component.htm&amp;release=248&amp;type=5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Repeater<\/a> section to the screen and fill it with the supported input components you need to collect the record data. Once the user has entered the data, they can click on the Add button to build another record.
