Q: Why did I get Acxiom’s privacy page when I’m looking for AboutTheData?
A: Acxiom and our former subsidiary, LiveRamp, Inc. separated in September 2018. When Acxiom and LiveRamp separated, ownership of AboutTheData.com was transferred to LiveRamp. Acxiom data is no longer available through AboutTheData.com
Q: How do I find out about the data that Acxiom has about me?
A: Acxiom believes that a consumer-friendly, robust, consumer access web portal that not only allows consumers to understand the data that Acxiom has about them, but which also allows consumers to opt-out of our marketing products or delete the personal information Acxiom has collected about them, is an integral part of our business. Acxiom is in the process of building a new consumer access portal to afford consumers, nationwide, with those opportunities. The new portal will also be designed to meet the requirements of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) which takes effect January 1, 2020.
Q: How do I Opt Out of the marketing data that Acxiom has about me?
A: Acxiom has long offered consumers the opportunity to opt out of its marketing products. While the new consumer access portal is being constructed, Acxiom will continue to offer consumers the ability to opt-out of Acxiom’s marketing products. Please visit: acxiom.com/optout.
