Acxiom Celebrates VP of Financial Services Traci Williams’ Induction into the Arkansas Academy of Computing

Acxiom, the customer intelligence company, proudly announces the induction of Traci Williams, Vice President of Financial Services, into the prestigious Arkansas Academy of Computing (AAoC). The AAoC recognizes and honors Arkansans who have made significant contributions to the field of computing while advocating for education and innovation across the state.

Inspired by her father, a prominent and well-respected figure in the data and tech industry, Williams began her journey at Acxiom at 16 as a part-time associate. Fueled by her passion for technology, she pursued every available computer and programming course in high school. This dedication led her to earn a degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from the University of Central Arkansas.

As Acxiom’s Vice President of Financial Services, Williams leads the development of data-driven solutions that empower financial institutions to optimize and enhance their marketing, risk management, fraud prevention, and customer experience strategies. To stay ahead of the curve with emerging trends and broaden her industry knowledge, she regularly attends conferences and webinars, engaging with experts in the field. With an impressive 26-year career in data and technology, her commitment to innovation compels her to continuously seek new methods for refining processes, products, and services, delivering exceptional value for Acxiom’s clients and stakeholders.

Deeply passionate about fostering Arkansas’s next generation of tech professionals, Williams maintains strong ties with her alma maters and their programs. She supports the Computer Science Students of Distinction award program, an initiative facilitated by the Arkansas Computer Science Initiative and administered by the AAoC. This program recognizes exceptional high school students interested in pursuing computer science careers.

Williams expressed her gratitude upon her induction: “I am honored and humbled to be inducted into the Arkansas Academy of Computing. I have always been fascinated by the power and potential of data and technology to transform businesses and lives. I am grateful to work at Acxiom, where I can apply my passion and skills to create innovative solutions for our clients. I am equally committed to mentoring and inspiring young talent who aspire to join this exciting field. My goals and aspirations for myself and Acxiom align with the AAoC’s mission and vision: to promote excellence in computing across Arkansas.”
