Alex Pym serves as regional leader and the Chief Commercial Officer, EMEA, at Acxiom. Alex is at the helm, steering us towards customer and business success across the region. His journey to Acxiom is marked by significant achievements and leadership roles, notably as President, EMEA, and Global Chief Growth Officer at Huge, an esteemed fellow Interpublic Group agency. His tenure at Huge was distinguished by his adept leadership and strategic vision, contributing to the agency's growth and success.

Alex brings a wealth of experience from the consulting and agency realms, particularly from future-focused companies where he has been recognized as a forward-thinking business leader. His expertise spans many disciplines including strategy, digital transformation, CX, client partnership, and marketing. His impressive career includes pivotal roles at Sapient in the UK, where he spearheaded strategic growth, and at creativebrief, a digital-first marketing consultancy, where he led client services and business development.

A proven track record of partnering with the world's leading brands on industry-defining experiences — including Google, LEGO, McDonald's, Warner Brothers and LVMH—demonstrates his ability to navigate the complex and everchanging interplay between consumers, brands, and technology. Alex's work with innovative European brands including On Running, Hublot and Nothing further showcases his adaptability and vision in a rapidly evolving market landscape. Alex's philosophy centres on the critical role of customer understanding in crafting exceptional customer experiences (CX), which he cites as a fundamental differentiator for the most successful brands.

Away from the professional realm, Alex resides in Surrey, just outside London, with his wife and their two children, Evie and Oliver. His passions extend to design, photography, running and golf. He is an alumnus of Royal Holloway University of London and Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, holding a joint BA in European Studies, reflecting his diverse interests and global perspective.
